...and now, 30 seconds of Think Tank news you can use.

Thursday 7/17/08:

This weeks OVER THE HUMP features some brand new live videos from our BIG 5th of July Show @ the Live Bait Theater. We have lots more footage from the show so make sure to check back next week for a bunch of new scenes.

First up we have HOMELESS SALESMAN.....a poetic scene about an entrepreneur who helps the homeless:

Next up is a  DOUBLE DARE themed interactive competition we hosted  with two lucky audience members:

Over.The.Hump….hope everyone had a radical holiday weekend. WE certainly did. After a ridiculous gathering at Brent’s place last Thursday night and a blowout show on Saturday night, the Tank is still recovering. We have tons of new footage that should be ready any day now (both from The Cornservatory & the Live Bait Theater shows).

Here is a quick picture from Brents party. It got pretty foggy so we had to man some guests with flashlights.

Since the upcoming weeks will probably feature a lot of show footage....this week we are dedicating entirely to music.

First up is a video of the band Love Is All playing a live version of Wishing Well. This video is from the website Handheldshows.com which has videos of various bands playing impromptu acoustic sets in random places. This version shows the band is at some European Train station. Check out the befuddled bystanders….

Next up is some live footage of our Brooklyn buddies Tigercity jamming out in Cambrige, MA. You can see them live in Chicago at Schuba's on July 31st:

Here's Bob Dylan playing Chimes of Freedom live at the Newport Folk Festival in 1964:

And last but not least.....Radiohead playing Jigsaw Falling Into Pieces.....with cameras mounted to their heads:

Thursday 7/3/08:

Welcome back to another addition of over the hump! We had a blast last Saturday night performing at The Cornservatory and should have video from the show coming up very soon…..

The BIG news this week however is THIS SATURDAY NIGHT! We will be performing our huge 5th of July extravaganza show at the Live Bait Theater. The show starts at 10:30pm…but show up a little early for some fun pre-show activities, including a fantastic ukulele player we just booked to jam out in the lobby.

To help kick off the holiday (party) weekend right, here is an awesome music video from the band No Age in which they rock a sweet backyard party:

Next up is a hilarious video featuring our good buddy Kevin Pomeroy. Keeps your eyes peeled for him at our show this weekend….he might just resemble Uncle Sam:

Here is a video from another one of our good friends 80’s Clown. He is getting so big these days he has even got a new sponsor:

And last but not least….here is a beautiful song about Llama’s:

SEE YOU SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday 6/26/08:

9 DAYS AND COUNTING UNTIL OUR BIG SHOW! But seriously, if you have visited this site at all recently, you’re probably aware. If you visit the site much, you’ve probably also noticed that we are undergoing a redesign of sorts. We’re working to clean it all up and have it be more functional than ever.

So George Carlin died this week. And that sucks. Without getting too sentimental we’ll say this: he was an AWESOME comic who we all (think tank) admired tremendously. He will be missed. Here’s a great video of him ripping on white people.

If you haven’t seen this video yet you might live under a rock. But since Paul is from Boston and continues to gloat about the Lakers losing…here ya go.

Hey Kobe…tell me how my ass tastes:

Here is a video of Cripsin Glover on acid….on the David Letterman show. He loses it right on air….

And finally….here is the new David Byrne video…which randomly features a Chicago lady we all used to perform with quite a bit. Nice work Lauren! Naked paaaarty:

Ahhhh......to be over the hump...welcome back. Have you emailed tickets@thinktankcomedy to reserve your spots for the July 5th show? Get on it!

This week, we have some special times from Town Hall Pub from Father's Day. Both Paul and the Puterbaugh Sisters' dads were in town, and hooked up some great performances for us. Here is our set opening up for Paul's dad:

Here is the man, Tom Robinson (see the resemblance?):

Welcome back to Over the Hump! This week has some delicious weirdness. And just in case you missed the announcement (or the giant banner above) THINK TANK has landed a show at Live Bait for July 5th. Ideas are rolling for this event, including a carnival in the lobby, eating contests, and outlandish comedy. To reserve you tickets (no charge, just getting your name on the list), send an email to <tickets@thinktankcomedy.com> Hemingway, back to the HuMp...here's our closing number from Train Accident's show last Wednesday (keep in mind, we had just thrown 80 pieces of bologna at this audience):

Too Late to Apologize...
Next up, some words of wisdom from the great Gary Busey:

Here's a little Radiohead for ya's (covering portishead's "the Rip"):

See ya soon.....

This show will most definitely sell out, so send an email to tickets@thinktankcomedy.com to lock yours down. We are also pleased to announce that we have secured our first ever Indianapolis show on July 26th at Radio Radio (where many of our heros, including Devandra Banhart, Andrew Bird, and Dr. Dog have played).

Ok...on with HUMP. First up, all kinds of people have been wondering how the new material is shaping up...and here's a sneak peek. This is us LAST NIGHT hucking 80 pieces of bologna at the Train Accident Audience. Thanks to Train accident for having us:
